Occurrence remarks Shrub to 2 m tall, several erect columnar stems from horizontal basal branches; foliage very columnar, leaves clustered densely on short lateral branches along main stems; flowers dull pale yellow (perianth and style), ovary and style-end green. Rare. One patch only of a dozen or so plants, very weedy and with little regeneration.
