Occurrence remarks Locally frequent prostrate to decumbent shrub c. 30 cm x > 1 m. Some variation in branchlet thickness in population, this specimen chosen to represent the thickest extreme. No fertile material seen despite lengthy observation. Other species in this family also occurring in the reserve are Casuarina glauca (both upright and prostrate forms), C. equisetifolia subsp. incana and Allocasuarina littoralis.
