Occurrence remarks Specimen from female tree. Scattered small trees (>10 flowering male and female trees naturalized in and outside the Marsupial Park) to 5 m high. Trees with single or multiple trunks, lower trunks grey with furrowed bark, upper branches with lenticels. Leaves with 5-7 pairs of mostly opposite leaflets, sometimes leaflets alternate toward the end and then leaves appear to have a terminal leaflet. Base of leaflets oblique. Female flowers with 3 styles and with 7 overlapping perianth segments that persist on young fruit.
