Occurrence remarks Locally frequent (>100 plants, also in pavement cracks at the nearby Inca Sun Motel but not seen elsewhere in Yamba) mostly prostrate herb to 5 cm high. Stems orange-red with numerous red and white hairs. Leaves opposite, upper surface green, lower surface pale grey-green, more long white hairs on lower surface than upper surface, leaf margins toothed, base of leaves asymmetric. Inflorescence at end of stems. Cyathia hairy; capsules with white and red appressed hairs; stigmas 6, white to red; male flowers within cyathia, anthers brownish white.
