Occurrence remarks Lamina generally rounded at the base and apex. Buds sticky with pale yellowish resin which smells somewhat piney. Capsules glabrous on the outer surface. Ovary immediately after flowering is clothed in silky appressed hairs but not as densely hairy as in Eucryphia sp. Leabes appear to be always simple. Lamina smooth and glaucous on the underside.
