Organism remarks Perennial erect, open tree 9m high x 9m wide. Leaf lanceolate, folded with spines among edges, at top of petiole and along midrib, 2m long x 60mm wide. Fruit orange, forming a ball below leaves, of 12-16 carpels 50mm long x 15mm wide in cluster 70-95mm wide. Fruit ball tapered at base, with shallow sinuses at top and vertical valleys and ridges.
Occurrence remarks Plain. Camp resort area. Dry brown, rocky sand.
