Occurrence remarks | Robert Brown collected here about May, 1803, and January, 1805. [Maiden's note on sheet re. det of G. linearis: "Are you certain of this? It has deep pink flowers, not the pale pink of Port Jackson. The leaves are rigid and almost pungent." Letter from Maiden also attached: "I have just come across this Grevillea. Independently I have met with the same difficulty as Mr Fletcher and I collected some specimens at the Grose River in Sept. 1906 which I have forwarded to you . Perhaps you will look into the matter. J.H.M. 18 Jun 1908." Betche answers: "I think this is a very narrow-leaved form of Grevillea linearis, with a rather abnormal inflorescence." ] |
