Field notes Occasional to locally common on road verge (many 100s between Manilla and Attunga). Herb to 1 m high. Leaves grey-green, slightly paler below, margin toothed. Flowers with 4 butter yellow petals, stamens 6, 2 shorter than other 4. Stamen filaments yellow-green, anthers yellow. Pods to 41 mm long (including beak) and to 4 mm wide. Many stems amongst flowers covered in cabbage aphid, Brevicoryne brassicae Linnaeus.
