Field notes | Lower portions of leaves erect through the water, but curving abruptly just below water surface so upper parts of leaves floating. Surfaces more or less concolourous, the upper surfaces of floating portions of largest leaves a little darker green and glossier than the lower surfaces. Blades flat both above and below the sheath; not spongy, more or less translucent, to 8mm wide. |
