Occurrence remarks Epiphytic moss with green leaves; prominent long white hair point present; dry leaves appressed to stem; moistened leaves spreading; seta short, arcuate, pale brown; capsule 0.5-1.0 mm long, ovate-oblong, pale brown, striate; operculum smooth, orange brown; leaf margin recurved; cells green, smooth, incrassate, quadrate becoming short rectangular, corrugated below; basal cells rectangular, thin-walled.
