Occurrence remarks Locally abundant (many 1000s around swamp) shrub to 4 m high. Trunk with grey bark that peels in short strips. New stems red to green with white hairs. Older stems grey and hairless. Leaves grey green, initially pubescent, less pubescent with age, glands obvious when held up to the light. Petals 5, white; stamens about 25, anthers green to pale brown and filaments white. Hypanthium initially green with white hairs, later grey and hairless. Digital images of this collection with John Hosking. Nature of sample: Leaf. Purpose: DNA. Researcher: R. Binks. Date: 14 Feb 2018. Inst./Country: CRC for Honey Bee Products.
