Occurrence remarks Dense shrub community 5-6m tall overtopped by a few trees or shrubs to almost 10 m on a low sand dune; ground covered by dense leaf litter; common shrub 2-3 m tall; grey-brown longitudinally fissured fibrous bark; flowers bright yellow, occasional pale orange flush at base of the standard.
