Occurrence remarks | Not common (>30 plants seen, mostly sprayed) at this time due to continued herbicide control being used for this species in this area. Previously abundant over a few hectares in this area (and also present in a few areas to the east and west of this location (K.L.McDougall pers. comm.)). Stoloniferous herb with inflorescences to 30 cm high. Leaves mid green above, slightly paler below, simple hairs on both surfaces and small stellate hairs below. Peduncle with simple black-based white hairs and small stellate hairs. Outer florets orange, inner florets yellow. Digital images available from John Hosking.
