Occurrence remarks Locally frequent low prostrate shrub to 10cm high by 1m across. Flowers yellow, fruits green ripening to dark brown. Conservation seed collection made with OEH Saving Our Species project for future translocation. Approx 32 mature plants in this sub-population with good native grass diversity. 2 discrete clumps of this species 3 metres apart among Themeda grassland.

Supplied as "Flat open grassland dominated by Themeda triandra with Eragrostis curvula and occasional regrowth shrubs of Kunzea ambigua, Banksia integrifolia. Hibbertia diffusa also at this site. Area routinely slashed. Soils fine grey sandy alluvium with increasing clay at depth."
