Field notes | Locally abundant (many 1000s over at least 200 m of the gully above houses) succulent herb to 1.2 m high. Stems rooting where in contact with the ground. Leaves to 7 cm long and 1 cm wide. Upper two thirds to three quarters of leaves V-shaped in cross section and with what appear to be toothed margins, lower section round in cross section, overall grey-green with brownish blotches on non-flowering plants. Leaves on flowering stems often pale green and also blotched brown. Flowers drooping in flat-topped umbels. Calyx joined for lower |
