Occurrence remarks Juvenile herb to 1.6 m high. Leaves dark green, many plants with lower leaves brown and recently dead. Ligules of outer florets pink or white; inner florets tubular, 3 - 5, with 4 yellow lobes. Upper involucral bracts with pink tips and upper margins.
