Occurrence remarks Shrub to 2 m high and 2 m wide. Younger stems with scale-like hairs. Leaves toothed with forward directed spines on each tooth. Fruit surrounded by 5 white, with a tinge of pink, succulent sepals which dry and shrink prior to seed shed
