Field notes | Herb to 84cm high (about 30cm below water). Roots fibrous with ellipsoid tubers to 2cm long and 1.5cm wide. Base of plant with fibrous tunic. Lowest part of leaves white, remainder green, to 73cm long and 1cm wide. Fruits with 3 carpels that separate with age, longest carpels about 10mm long, circular in cross section and smooth. |
