Field notes Leaves floating flat on surface. Stems semi-reclining or fallen flat under weight of fruits, green, with rachis also green. Note much longer tubers than form A (T. multifructum) collected here also (Aston 2746). Both forms intermingled. Tubers: longest 95 x 8mm; shortest 48 x 9mm; widest 87 x 10mm; all measured fresh.

Supplied as "Rooted in 20cm of water in soft silty clay of creek bottom, along edges of stagnant waterhole of creek. Bottom clay with several cm of leaf litter decomposing in the water; water blackish. Creek edged with River Red Gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) and coursing through cleared farmlands."
