Occurrence remarks Abundant. Seed collected from more [than] 30 individuals. Voucher for Millennium Seed Bank Project. Tree, c. 12 m tall and 10 m wide. Bark rough and fibrous-flaky, yellow-grey in colour. Fruits urn-shaped, up to 20 mm long and 15 mm wide, in terminal compound conflorescences. Mature fruits grey-brown, young fruits green.

Habitat On edge of exposed W facing sandstone escarpment. Skeletal pale grey sandy soil over large bare sandstone platform/boulders. Low open forest dominated by Corymbia eximia, C. gummifera; also occasional Eucalyptus piperita, E. sparsifolia? and tall Banksia serrata. Shrubs consist of B[anksia] spinulosa, Pultenaea scabra, Bossiaea rhombifolia, Isopogon anemonifolius, Lambertia formosa, etc.
