Occurrence remarks Locally common (5 around collection point – only one in flower – many more at other locations in Reserve) small shrub to 90 cm high in collection area. Young stems green with white hairs, less hairy with age and older stems grey and hairless. Leaves flat or with margins slightly incurved. Older leaves dark green, younger leaves pale green, retrorse appressed white hairs on lower surface initially but losing hairs with age, upper surface always glabrous, mucro at leaf tip obvious but not rigid. Stipules brown and contrasting in colour with upper stems. Calyx with outer surface glabrous and inner surface of mid line of calyx lobes with white hairs. Bracteoles at base of calyx with stipule-like structures, the leaf-like structure being hairy. Flowers predominantly yellow, small amount of red at base of standard on the inner side. Ovary and early pod hairless. Silica gel material at NE and NSW. Digital images with John Hosking.
