| Field notes | Tufted erect plants 0.75-0.9 m high, and spreading to about 0.9 m across. Leaves medium green, varying from flattish to slightly recurved at margins and strongly recurved on drying. Flowers - inner perianth segments bright blue, outer narrower and dark blackish; anthers yellow below, blackish in upper part. Pedicels vary from spreading and straight, to gently or strongly downwardly curved. |
