Occurrence remarks Shrub to 4 m high. Plants are more common under Eucalyptus albens Benth. compared with grassy areas. Stems with obvious lenticels. Leaves 2.5-8.7 cm long; upper surface dark to mid green; lower surface with dense covering of rusty green to greenish scales; petiole 0.2-0.8 cm long. Fruit globe-shaped (mostly) to ellipsoid, green to purple-black, 4.5-7 mm wide
