Field notes Pileus a) 8x3mm, b)2x1mm: convex, dry, estriate, velutinous, to hairy under the dissecting microscope, greyish brown, straight, appendiculate. Lamellae: adnate, segmentiform concolorous c cap, whitely fimbriate, close, mod. thick, lamellulae [see diagram]. Stipe a) 17mm, 0.5mm, 0.5mm. 0.5mm, b) 7mm, 0.25mm, 0.25mm, 0.25mm. CA [=centrally attached, cyl[indrical], dry, grey brown, very slender + thread like, covered with woolley, matted hairs, only just discernible with the naked eye. Odour: not obvious. Taste: too little to eat. Spores: inamyloid. 4µm x 5µm.
