Occurrence remarks | A widely dispersed species, extending from the coast to the Western slopes of the dividing range. It is generally met with away from the coast on the highest points of the high hills, in exposed situations. It grows to about 5-6 feet high, the young shoots (wood) is always primrose in colour approaching red. This character is borne out in every district from the tablelands West. The leaves are shorter and more coriaceous in texture than the coastal forms, somewhat after A. cunninghammii in this respect. |
