Occurrence remarks | Shrub. I only know one shrub of this kind. About an acre in extent; very few shrubs had flowers; anticipating that I might have trouble in finding pods I tied white rag on about a dozen branches that had flowers on. I regret to say no fruit formed. [Assuming that the hand-written note below is correctly placed here, I consider, judging from the protologue, that this March 1918 collection is from Lochaber Stn & is therefore a SYNTYPE of Acacia jucunda Maiden & Blakely - B.R. Maslin, 1 Apr 1985.] |
