Occurrence remarks Locally dominant (over area c. 4 m x 2 m) herb with inflorescences to 30 cm high. Plants root from prostrate stems. Stems red above nodes. Leaves opposite, dark green above, paler below, margins with around 17 teeth per side. but lacking teeth at apex, teeth with red tips. Calyx 5-lobed, green with red tips to lobes. Petals 5, c. 8 mm long and c. 1.5 mm wide, white with small mid-petaline pink line.
