State conservation Tasmania: Rare
Occurrence remarks Rare under State legislation. Plants frequently heavily grazed in more open areas. Larger bushes often sheltering Hovea heterophylla and Gompholobium huegelii. 100 - 400 plants found in area sampled greater than 10 000 sq m. 40 - 60 plants sampled. 40 % of population giving seed. Material collected - seeds (diaspore). Seed type - seed. Fruit type - legume. Harvested loose fruits. Fruiting often better on prostrate branches; possible consequence of bird predation. Seedbank Voucher.
