Occurrence remarks Gregarious. Caps 8-12mm diameter, vinaceous grey(80) livid vinaceous(77), vinaceous(76), paler margin, campanulate to broadly conic, sulcate-striate, margin scalloped. Gills distant, average 16, occasionally 1-2 lamellulae, cream, free, no colour on margin. Stipe wiry, 40-70 x 0.5mm, dark purple-black base, brown mid-region, pink upper end, obvious white basal mycelial pad. Spores inamyloid, smooth, clavate average 17.5 x 4.5μm, Qav = 3.97; range 16.5-18 (-19.5) x 4-55μm, Qmin = 3.51, Qmax = 4.62. (20 spores)
