Occurrence remarks Herb to 20 cm high. Leaves all basal, glabrous to hairy, with wavy to toothed margins. Florets yellow above, all ligulate with ligules to 11 mm long and to 4 mm wide, ray florets grey below except for yellow side margins. Involucral bracts grey-green, glabrous to simple hairy, inner ones of even length, outer ones shorter. Ray cypselas not beaked and with a crown-like pappus. Other cypselas beaked and with a spreading pappus consisting of plumous bristles
