Occurrence remarks | Height to 1.35 m. Locally abundant (1000s in area). Florets all ligulate, opening from the outside of the flowerhead first. Ends of ligules with 5 prominent teeth. Outer ligules 8-10 mm long. Bracts glabrous except for short cottony weak hairs. Nysius vinitor and N. clevelandensis on many heads. Also approximately 1000 plants growing in ungrazed woodland on S facing slope, between old road and new road, N of entrance to mine buildings. |
