Occurrence remarks | Common. Stems erect or leaning 80-130 cm tall growing from thick spreading rhizomes 4-8 mm diameter. Growing over an area of c. 6 x 8 m. Juncus acutiflorus and J. microcephalus both having superficially rather similar leaves and both common - so difficult to locate when not flowering or fruiting. |
