Occurrence remarks | Cactus to 1 m high but mostly in clumps to 30 cm high. Segments green with silver thorns that have a detachable sheath. Nearest areoles c. 1 cm apart on mature cladodes. Live segments to 14 cm long and 3 cm wide at this location (at Grawin to 34 cm long and 4 cm wide). Spines to 5 cm long, 1-12 per areole |
