| Organism remarks | Gregarious. Pileus: to 63 mm in diameter, circular, umbonate; margin narrowly incurved (x10), straight or plane, unevenly crenulate, translucent striate (observed wet); surface moist, smooth (slightly radially ridged in places), slightly tacky, glabrous, pale fawn, darker at centre (Methuen 5D4-5D5). Flesh: 5 mm thick at centre, white, hard. Lamellae: 26 mm long x 8 mm deep, adnexed - very narrowly attached; narrow, close; face slightly ridged (c10), margins unevenly serrate, splitting; pinkish fawn (5B3) when mature; 2-3 tiers of lamellules. Stipe: 65-75 mm long x 7-11, 11-13 mm wide, central, terete, more or less equal, slightly wider at base, dry, silky, longitudinally appressed fibrillose, very pale fawn-tinged, white at base. Flesh: stuffed and/or partially narrowly fistulose. Spore print: clay pink. |
