Occurrence remarks Succulent shrub to 40 cm high. Stems pale yellowish and enlarged where leaves are, or were present. Leaves deeply V-shaped, green to greenish-yellow inside the V, pale yellow-brown with darker brown blotches on outer surface; on an obvious yellow petiole. No evidence of inflorescences seen although many seedling plants are growing in the area. c. 100 plants in the collection area, also seen in a number of other areas throughout the Lightning Ridge opal fields but not as common as either Bryophyllum delagoense or B. daigremontianum x B. delagoense. In most cases Bryophyllum species are growing in clumps of one species or the hybrid rather than in mixed stands. [Photographed 2017.]
