Field notes Densely tufted perennial herb to 30-40 cm high. Roots tuberous, tubers white, fleshy, to 10 cm long and 1-2 cm wide. Leaves mostly erect, to 40 cm high, and to 25 mm wide, mid-green on upper surface, paler on lower, not variegated. Inflorescence to ca. 60 cm high. Scape green, shiny. Flowers pre- anthesis held erect (facing upwards), pendant at anthesis. Tepals spreading, whitish to cream. Filaments white, papillate, anthers yellow, ovary pale-green.
