Occurrence remarks Shrub to 5 m high. Bark on larger shrubs comes off in thin strips, easily removed by hand. Young leaves softly and densely hairy on both surfaces, grey-green, oil glands not visible on these leaves; older leaves virtually hairless and with obvious oil glands. Hypanthium hairy. Petals 5, white, c. 5 mm long and 4 mm wide. Plants mostly finished flowering at this time.
