Field notes Prostrate herb with erect leaves to 2cm high. Stems prostrate and rooting at nodes. Leaves hairy on both surfaces, more so below, upper surface appears dark green and the lower surface whitish green, Flowers small, basal, tepals greenish yellow and glabrous inside, white hairy externally. Stamens 4, filaments pale green and anthers pale yellow. Stigma greenish. Fruit initially green then purplish with white hairs.
