Field notes | Sedge to 95 cm high. Plants with bulbous bases joined by rhizomes (less obviously than for Cyperus victoriensis C.B.Clarke (J.R.Hosking 3338)). Leaves dark green above with obvious raised flat areas in the middle of both sides of the mid vein, lower surface paler. Involucral leaves similar to stem leaves. Spikelets tan with back of glumes yellow-green, but pale brown (along with rest of spikelet) with age. |
