Occurrence remarks Young tree to 3 m tall with fronds to ground level. Leaves to 3.3 m long, 0.8 m wide, petiole 10-13 cm wide at connection with trunk, rachis with spine-like leaves at base. Inflorescence branched; flowers cream. Specimen comprises the following: (1) frond tip; (2) mid frond; leaflets 43-45 cm long; (3) near base of frond; leaflets 58-60 cm long; (4) inflorescence and peduncle; (5) inflorescence spathe, 40 cm long, 10 cm wide. All plants located near base of {Eucalyptus} trees - probably originate from bird or flying fox droppings. ACT TAMS advised and removal recommended.
