Occurrence remarks Perennial, rhizomatous herb. Rhizomes very slender, long, with scattered hard, spherical to ovoid tubers. Culms to 50 cm high. Leaves mid-green, glossy. Spikelets tawny-brown. Ive observed the population over more than a year, and the plants do not appear to produce seed. Dense patch, ca. 5 x 5 metres.
