Occurrence remarks Locally frequent (c. 5 large plants and >100 small vegetative plants) shrub to 4 m high. Bark grey. Leaves smaller than more common form in Oxley Park. Leaves dark green and glabrous above. although some younger leaves with scattered white hairs on the midrib. Lower leaf surface paler and white hairy on back to hairless on back. Fruit red with 2 pyrenes. Silica gel material at NE. Digital images with John Hosking.

Supplied as "C. 10 degree slope. Greywacke substrate. Red brown clay loam. Eucalyptus albens Benth. woodland with shrub, grass and herb understory, here growing with Dodonaea viscosa Jacq. subsp. angustifolia (L.f.) J.G.West, Bursaria spinosa Cav. subsp. spinosa, Photinia serratifolia (Desf.) Kalkman, Ligustrum lucidum W.T.Aiton, Pandorea pandorana (Andrews) Steenis subsp. pandorana, Asparagus asparagoides (L.) Druce and numerous grasses and herbs."
