Supplied as "Very gently sloping (E aspect) floor of broad valley at foot of steep range of hills; seasonally waterlogged and permanently moist grey sandy clay-loam overlying white, gravelly clay surrounding large permanent spring; tall woodland dominated by E. sp. nov., with scattered {E. blakely}i round margins of swampy area; dense sedge and grass understorey dominated by {Carex appressa} and {Juncus} sp., scattered shrubs of {Acacia melanoxylon, Leptospermum juniperinum} and {Viminaria juncea}; surrounding slopes supporting {E. blakelyi, E. bridgesiana, E. polyanthemos, E. albens, E. macrorhyncha, E. melliodora} woodland."
