Field notes Erect, rhizomatous, multistemmed shrub to 1 metre high. Leaves 2- or 3-pinnatisect in lower part of stem, and younger shoots, upper leaves unlobed. Leaves strongly discolorous. Leaf upper surface mid to dark green, more or less dull. Leaf lower surface greenish-white. Fragrant. Involucral bracts green. Florets reddish-brown.
