Occurrence remarks Erect dense shrub 0.3-1.5 m high, mostly 0.5-1 m diameter. Leaves green, pleasantly aromatic when crushed. Prophylls green. Calyx green. Corolla white. Staminal filaments white, strongly curved inwards; anthers cream-coloured. Ovary pale green; style and stigma white. Fruits not seen. An infequent white-flowered form of this species.
