Field notes | Mat-forming herb with inflorescences to 55 cm high. Plants rooting along trailing stems. Leaves grey-green, succulent, mucro present that varies from green to brown and is in the same plane as the leaf or angled up from the leaf tip. Flowers at early flowering sub-corymbose. Petals 6, white. Stamens 12, sometimes to 15 in the same head, filaments greenish-white, anthers yellow. Calyx green, mostly with 6 lobes joined towards base. Ovaries mostly 6, sometimes 7. |

Occurrence remarks | Locally abundant to scattered over 2.5 m x 2.5 m. Plants appear to have reached the area as dumped garden waste but are now spreading in the area. They have been seen by J.R.Hosking in this area for at least 2 years prior to collection. |
