Occurrence remarks A localised but large colony. Growing singly or in clumps up to four together, and spread over a wide area. Leaves were single, terete, longer than inflorescence; up to 450 mm long. Purplish brown flowers with very sweet, strong perfume: stretched sparsely up the stem. Up to 30 odd flowers per stem. Labellum purple with dark labellum plate. Some evidence of pollination on one flower which had been open longer. Most still in bud. ANHspirit 4911.
