Event remarks | Gully rainforest; alt ca 800ft. Tree ca 27m high, dbh ca 35cm., candle-like in shape with short horizontal branches up trunk from near the base, coppicing at base; bark with short deep furrowing, fawn-brown outside, salmon cream inside, aromatic; sapwood dark cream, aromatic; leaves mid dull glossy green above, paler and dull below, aromatic when crushed; flowers white, petals, stamens, and stigmas are a rather greenish white. |
