Occurrence remarks Almost a monoculture, I estimate at least 3.5ha (1ha on Teddywaddy Bushland Reserve and 2.5ha on freehold land adjoining property). There are between 3 and 5 plants per square meter, so the population may be in the order of 100000+. Rabbits, patterson curse and cape weed threaten the site. Sand extraction on the reserve has been halted and protection/negotiation has commenced with Parks Victoria.
State conservation Critically Endangered
