Occurrence remarks | Naturalised flowering and fruiting deciduous trees to 8 m high. Large lenticels on brown stems toward the base of trees. Leaves dark green above, paler below; lamina (including acuminate tip) to 12.5 cm long and to 5 cm wide with acuminate tip to 2 cm long, margin serrate; on petiole to 2 cm long. Leaves often in groups of 5 and mostly towards the end of branches. Stipules no longer on plant. Remains of fruit pedicels present. Collection from the same plant as J.R.Hosking 2332 & C.H.Barker. Identity of earlier collection confirmed by D.E.Symon (AD) on 17 October 2003 and by J.R.Hosking using specimens (main collection) and references at NSW on 23 October 2003. (= Prunus cerasoides D.
